CT70 Configuration Guide
The CT70 is available with many options so you can get a device optimized for your business.  This guide will help you understand the choices to be made before we can make an accurate quote.

Scan Engine Choices
The CT70 has three scan engine options available (standard range, Flex Range, and Flex Range XLR) which can be confusing to make a choice.  The actual maximum range will depend on several factors including the barcode type (Code 128, QR Code, etc.), the size of the barcode, the material it is printed on (white label, retroreflective label, etc.) and more.  MSS Software is happy to provide CT70 units with each scan engine so you can determine which is best for your business.

Radio Options
The CT70 comes standard with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi like.  The cellular/CBRS radio is optional and not field upgradable

RFID Option
An internal RFID radio / reader is available for reading 900 mHz RFID tags.  The internal RFID reader cannot be added or upgraded in the field.

Battery Options
The CT70 has three battery options: a standard battery, an extended capacity battery, and a wireless charging battery.

Warranties

The CT70 comes standard with a 1 year warranty.  Extended warranties elevate the coverage to include incidental damage (e.g. broken screen after a drop).  Gold and Platinum warranties are offered as outlined in the table below.  Warranty periods are for 3 or 5 years of total coverage.
